At Aerith, we know that AI, generative and otherwise, can be used as tools that integrate seamlessly into professional artistic workflows. We are also looking ahead to the very next industrial transition - from classical compute to quantum compute. Avé is developing a toolset that combines established 3D process with AI and quantum enhanced processes. We develop our tools using an intelligent, artist-first approach so that the technical serves the creative - we call it Artistic Intelligence.

Quantum computing is a relatively new development in computer science that resolves complext mathematical operations by applying the principles of particle physics. To make it understandable, we have a growing set of easy-to-understand infographics and terms on the Papers page.

Avé (Aerith Visualization Engine) is our VFX application. It applies quantum computing to complex VFX challenges like raytracing, fluid effects, and Monte Carlo simulations, enabling real-time rendering for the next generation of imaging. Avé will be available in plugin, stand-alone and SaaS versions.

Traditional rendering hits a bottleneck with complex physics simulations. Quantum computing is orders of magnitude faster at the same complex operations. Aerith uses quantum logic on clasical computers to process these simulations exponentially faster, allowing for level-of-detail and lighting accuracy previously impossible on classical hardware. Avé will already run on quantum hardware when it is available, "future-proofing" your toolset.

No. Avé integrates AI into a classic VFX work flow, to solve specific challenges. We are developing Avé within actual film production pipelines so that we can be sure it works in a prfessional environment. Our Films are written, directed, crewed, acted & voiced by talented human beings. Because ART is a mode of communcation from one human being to another. AI - all VFX - can be used to paint pictures, but only a human interaction can create art.

Aerith's work is highly specialized and demanding. So we must be very selective in bringing people onto our team. We require superior ability, exceptional focus, and broad backgrounds. We do not accept any outside projects. Films created by Aerith must be crafted from the earliest stage to advance the Avé application and present specific VFX challenges that quantum processes can solve. So scripts must be created in close collaboration with our partners. Unfortunately, that means that submissions of any kind will be disposed of without review or acknowledgement.
